At theROC Youth Services, one of our key objectives is to have a positive impact on the Prince Edward County community. In order to accomplish this, we pursue the development of mutually beneficial and meaningful partnerships with businesses, build strong relationships with social service agencies and local schools, and encourage parental involvement.
Youth build positive and consistent relationships with our experienced and educated staff. In doing so, youth are connected to their community and feel a sense of belonging. They know they have trusted adults in their corner who will support and encourage them through life’s ups and downs.
All of theROC programs and services include healthy snacks and meals, as well as frozen meals to take home when needed for youth and their families. Community groups and individuals donate clothing year-round ensuring that youth have appropriate attire for all seasons. Basic need provisions are always available including hygiene and personal care kits.

The safety and well being of our youth cannot be achieved by one agency or sector alone. Youth safety and well-being must be a shared responsibility among community members, traditional and political leaders, the police and other justice partners, community organizations, healthcare providers, social services, victim services, education, housing, cultural groups and private enterprise.
In order to meet the expectations of our youth and families, we proudly work with the following partners:
theROC partners with LOCAL COMMUNITY LEADERS who serve as volunteers, guest coaches & fitness leaders, and artists. Their experience benefits service delivery by providing resources and professional instruction.
Loyalist College partners with theROC by providing placement students in the Social Service program or Child & Youth Worker Program. theROC provides placement opportunities for professional development, and work experience mentoring youth. theROC offers placement opportunities for college students who seek to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience working with children and youth.
