Get Grounded is a three-week mental wellbeing workshop designed to help intermediate elementary youth navigate stress and manage anxiety.
Get Grounded is a 3 week mental wellbeing workshop developed by theROC Youth Services and delivered directly in local classrooms. This workshop is geared toward youth in Grade 7 & 8, supporting them in understanding how to navigate indicators of stress, while encouraging and increasing protective factors.
Each week Get Grounded will focus on stress management, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills, assisting students in their preparation to transition into high school. The workshop provides youth with the opportunity to connect and build relationships with their peers, through interactive group activities and a self- guided approach to understanding various grounding techniques.
