COVID-19 Update

May 11 – ROC is hitting the road! The ROC is launching the Neighbourhood Outreach Response Project, where we will be travelling weekly to neighbourhoods across the county to drop-off hygiene and food Care Kits. We’re also using this time to connect with youth in person in a safe way. Email us today to see when we’re coming to your neighbourhood, and be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for up to date news.

April 6 – We want to hear how you and your family are doing. Please let us know how we can help you by filling out this quick and easy survey telling us about your needs.

March 30 – The ROC is virtually open for business hours Monday to Friday, 10:30 am – 5:30 pm.

As a result of COVID-19, we are moving our no-cost programming online. Monday – Friday, ROC staff will be posting videos, running contests, working on the Community Art Mural Project and creating fun and exciting activities for all. Join in on the fun on Facebook and Instagram.

We welcome youth, adults, community partners and all of PEC to join us!

Make sure to check out our FacebookInstagram and calendar for details!

March 18 – As communicated on March 18, 2020 we made the decision to close the Youth Centre from March 16 – April 6 inclusively.  ROC staff will be working remotely during this time, and partner & community meetings will proceed virtually or postponed until after April 6 when we hope to have a better understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on our community.

To support youth during this time, will continue to be available through Email, Facebook and Instagram.

As members of this community, we wanted to do our part and have put together the following resources. If you have any suggestions to add to our growing list, please send an email to us at We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your support as we work to minimize the risk and spread of COVID-19.
